Breathtaking Petra

The trip to Egypt included an extension into Jordan and specifically, a visit to Petra in Southern Jordan.

Just wow!

Petra is often shown as the Treasury built into the rock - think Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. And it is incredible. But Petra is much more than the Treasury. It is a massive site and it takes lots of walking (and steps) to see the whole site. A really incredible day and well worth the effort to continue on after what can only be described as an endurance test in Egypt.
